Face To the Rear: A Progressive Event on
Wild Cat Mountain

A reenactment of Bragg's fighting withdrawal over Wild Cat Mountain after the Battle of Perryville, and the action there October 19, 1862

Event Information
This is a progressive event involving a 5 mile march and running tactical. Know your limitations and plan accordingly. Once the march commences, there is almost no modern intrusion.

Registration:
- No fee, but participants must contact us (at bigdog-13@peoplepc.com) before the event.
- We will make a collective donation for preservation of a Kentucky battlefield.
Important Notes:
- This is a 5 mile march over a mountain on a rough dirt road.
- There are no food vendors, and rations will not be issued since it is a Saturday-only event. Bring your own rations if you cannot last all day, just keep it period.
- It may be very cold. Be prepared.
- Rank will be commensurate with the number of troops in line.
- Participants will be shuttled from parking to the starting point, and back when the event is finished.
Rules:
- All weapons will be inspected at the beginning of the event by the event coordinators.
- No modern weapons of any kind will be allowed.
- Any weapon other than 3 band muskets must be approved by the event coordinators (except officers' side arms for officers who bring a unit).
- No edged weapons will be drawn on the march or in combat.
- No alcohol.
